Lee founded Hosted Solutions in June of 2001, then methodically and rapidly grew the company
to one of the fastest growing, most profitable data center and managed services providers in
the US, serving nearly 1,000 customers ranging from SMEs to Fortune 100 businesses.
Prior to forming Hosted Solutions, Rich founded MPInet in 1996, which quickly grew to become the largest privately held ISP in Florida. MPInet was acquired in 1999 by Duro Communications, and Rich was responsible for acquiring, integrating and managing over 15 acquisitions for the company.
Today Lee's 20-plus years of entrepreneurial experience serve him well—he continues to foster a culture of innovation at Hosted Solutions while keeping the company focused on strong business fundamentals.
Lee has led Hosted Solutions to a variety of industry accolades, including five consecutive Triangle Business Journal "Fast 50" awards; 2007, 2008 and 2009 Inc Magazine "Inc 5000" award; Triangle Business Leader's "Impact Entrepreneurs" in 2008 and Business Leader Magazine's "Business Leader of the Year" in 2009. He was also honored with the prestigious Ernst & Young "Entrepreneur of the Year" award for the Carolinas in 2009.
Lee holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Building Sciences from Auburn University. He is a frequent speaker at industry events and active member of the local community, serving on the boards of the Federation of Internet Service Providers (FISPA), the Council for Entrepreneurial Development (CED), Band Together and the Scott Hannon Memorial Foundation.
Turco serves as Chief Operating Officer for Hosted Solutions. In this role, he is
responsible for overseeing all operations, engineering, sales and marketing for the company.
A seasoned executive with a successful track record leading operations in high growth environments, Turco previously served as Senior Vice President of Operations and Engineering with Motricity, a leading provider of mobile data solutions to the world's most successful mobile operators and content providers. While at Motricity, Turco restructured all engineering and operations elements to successfully scale the business from $35 million to over $100 million over a two-year period.
Prior to Motricity, he was the Director of Sales for the mid-Atlantic region of SunGard Availability Services, a provider of information availability solutions. As a General Manager with SunGard, Turco was responsible for P&L, regional sales and marketing and providing data center and managed services.
Turco is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point and was commissioned as an Infantry Officer. He later became a Platoon Leader and Rifle Company Commander with the United States Army for the 10th Mountain Division and 25th Infantry Division, respectively. Turco was recognized for his leadership in 2009 as a recipient of the Triangle Business Journal's "40 under 40" award.
Clarke serves as Chief Financial Officer for Hosted Solutions. Clarke has more than 25
years of experience in finance and accounting roles in technology, manufacturing, services,
public, private, domestic and international environments.
Most recently, Clarke served as Chief Financial Officer at Railinc, a $50 million software development and IT services company supporting the railroad industry. While at Railinc, Clarke increased profit substantially through cost reduction initiatives and tax minimization strategies.
Prior to that, Clarke served as Controller with High Performance Technologies, a $50 million systems development and engineering firm supporting federal government clients based in Reston, Virginia. Previously, he served as Director of Financial Planning and Analysis with Analex, a $150 million publicly traded professional services company providing IT and engineering support for government clients including both civil and DoD agencies.
Clarke has a Master of Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Wake Forest University.
Allen serves as Vice President, Marketing for Hosted Solutions, and brings to her role more
than 12 years of experience in leadership positions for both private and publicly traded
companies in the high tech and mobile sectors.
Prior to joining Hosted Solutions, Allen spent three years as Vice President, Marketing for Motricity, where she played a key role in positioning the company as a leading provider of mobile data solutions to the world's most successful mobile operators and content providers. Allen came to Motricity after five years as Vice President, Marketing at SpectraSite Communications, a publicly traded company with a portfolio of 8,000 wireless communication towers nationwide.
Previously, Allen was Director of Client Services for DEM Group, a Philadelphia-based public relations firm focused on the technology industry. In her role at DEM Group, Allen oversaw accounts in the mobile, business continuity, data mining, eCommerce, CRM and online recruiting sectors.
Allen has a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations and Journalism from Rider University.
As VP, Technology for Hosted Solutions Jeff Kramer is responsible for overseeing the architecture and product strategy across all of the company. With more than 25 years of experience in both entrepreneurial and established environments, Kramer most recently served as Senior Vice President, Engineering and Technology Operations for Lulu.com.
Prior to Lulu, Kramer worked for Motricity and its predecessor company, Pinpoint Networks, starting out as the VP of Engineering and Operations and most recently leading the Architecture and Technology group. He was a driving force in the technical development and rollout of the Fuel platform to a number of key mobile operators, including the MediaMall platform for AT&T. The Fuel platform has been very successful in the marketplace and has generated over $750 million in Mobile Content Revenue.
Prior to that, Kramer was the Director of Software Development at Engage and he spent 16 years with IBM in a number of key technical and managerial capacities.
He holds one US patent and numerous IBM technical disclosures, and received a BS in Computer Science and Mathematics from North Dakota State University. Kramer currently serves as Chairman of Triangle Technology Executives Council (TTEC).
